Creamy Avocado Dressing

This recipe is adapted from “Fit for Life.” Use this dressing for any green salad, as a dip for raw or steamed veggies, or as a topping on sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ¼ C. water
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. low-fat sour cream, or non-dairy alternative such as Sour Supreme
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh dill, or 1 tsp. dried
  • ½ tsp. honey
  • ½ tsp. sea salt, seasoned salt or salt-free seasoning (I use “Spike”)
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice item

Instructions

  1. Cut avocado in half. Remove pit and scoop out in large chunks into food processor or blender along with other ingredients. Process until creamy and smooth.
